A Panchayat Layout was developed by M/s Leo Meridian Resorts & Developers Pvt Ltd., consisting of AC.65-02 Guntas at Bommaraspet Village, Shameerpet Mandal, in Sy. Nos. 387, 388, 389, 390 & 418P and got it approved by Bommaraspet Gram Panchayat vide Layout Approval No.115 of 2001 dated 27.10.2001. This layout is consisting of 315 plots (approximately 1000 Sq Yds each). Most of the plots were sold to various individuals by the Developers during the years 2001 to 2005. They have subsequently acquired adjacent lands in addition to the above in Survey Nos. 392, 418P, 419, 420 and 421, which comes to an extent of Ac 116-02 Guntas in all. The Open Places, Parks and Roads have been taken over by the local Revenue Authorities

The Leo Meridian Plot Owners Welfare Association (LMPOWA) was formed and registered (Regn. No. 1052 of 2011) to take care of the welfare of the Plot Owners.

Presently we have 140 members covering 158 plots in our Association. They are the absolute owners of the property. Our members were paying the Property Tax to the Bommaraspet Gram Panchayat. This year onwards, we are paying to Thumkunta Municipality.

As per Govt. of Telangana MA&UD GO, the Bommaraspet Panchayat has come under the purview of HMDA (GO MS No. 880 Dt. 31.12.2008).
